It's a pretty long article so I won't C&P it here.
Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
This whole welfare/food stamp debate really grates on my nerves. I have a good job, a college education, great benefits. I did everything "right" (not a comment on what I actually think is right, but I followed the typical, school, job, marriage, house, child formula). I am exceedingly lucky to have family who could help me financially if something happened, say, I lost my husband, but if I didn't have that to fall back on I would be in a bad place. I wouldn't be able to afford my home and childcare so that I could keep my job to pay my bills--even if I sold the house and downsized, rent would probably be as much as my mortgage. I have a very conservative, republican branch of my family who are always going on about how everyone abuses the system, but their own daughter only has a house and a car and everything else because they are able to help her. Where do they think she would be without them? And their son didn't have any qualms about collecting unemployment when he was laid off.
That turned into a bit of a rant, but it just aggravates me so much that people have these assumptions that they won't let go of. You never know when it will be you.
