Fish. I HATE swimming in lakes, the ocean, etc. because I am terrified they will somehow get me, and that there are giant ones lurking just beneath my toes. They are just so scaley and creepy to me.
ETA - agree with you on the doll front. Extra creepy for porcelain clown dolls. Those can all DIAF, stat.
Bugs/spiders/mice/snakes (I feel this all counts as one), heights and stomach churning things (like amusement park rides) and scary movies - even the ones that are absurd because they could never happen in real life.
Snakes. Not that ridiculous since lots of people have the same fear. But I fear them to the point that I cannot see them on TV. If I see one in real life I scream like a little girl and run. A trip to Petco with DS is lots of fun for me because he wants to see all the animals and they have snakes.
We were driving in traffic yesterday and from the backseat I hear,"Mama, there a spider on the roof. He's coming over your head!" Aaaahhh! Cue me trying to glance up there so I can figure out which way to dodge while still driving safely.
Last night I had a nightmare about stepping on a Black Widow :shudders:
Storms, especially at night or while driving and mirrors. I don't mind the occasional mirror but it cannot face where I'm sleeping and I hate when the house has a wall full of mirrors. Especially in dark or poorly lit areas.
My fear stemmed from my mothers love of them and filling my shelves with them! Then my older sibling forced me to watch chucky movies <--- one of my biggest fears I seriously cannot even see that doll without getting the creeps. After that I just knew those dolls were watching me waiting for the right time to get me!!
NPR had a story on it a couple months ago, talking about how it was increasingly being recognized as a legitimate phobia. And what do they do? Plaster the article with pictures. NO.
I would have just died right there on the spot. "giving me the hebe jebes"
I can't use a home bathroom if the shower curtain is closed. I have to open it every time. Large crowds freak me out big time. If I go shopping near the holiday season I'm always on the edge of an anxiety attack.

I have to make sure they are open too but what will I do if something is actually behind the curtain?
Re: Ridiculous things your afraid of
Cotton balls. Not really "afraid" of them but they gross me out.
Also-- throw up. I can't see it, hear it, smell it or even really think about it.

I hate mice!! They are soo freaking fast! I just know they are going to scurry up my leg and scratch my eyes out!!

Non-irrational: tornados and not being able to find shelter, or get all family members/dogs to safety in time. Same for house fire.
Animals with eyes on side of their head.
Please do not google Tryphophia.....
ugh
Also a fear of giant statues...
I need a drink after all this.....
Google "The Awakening Sculpture", if you dare...

lol
[-O< :-SS
But, for serious, I get sweaty nervous when I'm faced with them. And I can barely keep my shit together if I have to walk with DS on them.
@andrea99
creepy as fuck!!!
