Sticker on shirt in washer...tips?

The sticker disintegrated but sticky stuff now on the shirt... Any way to get it off?

    I used an ice cube (allow to melt on shirt and get wet) and my nails to scrape off sticker residue before. It worked but still a PITA.

    I also used on ice cube and used my nails to scrape it off. It took forever :( I also used dawn dish detergent and hot water to get the end of the residue off.

    LOL i sort of gave up on it but thanks!!!! it is a school uniform so she just wears it w/ the gunk on there. oh well.
