Hi lady,

I wanted to touch base with you after your response to my post about my newly discovered SCH yesterday.  It seems like everyone who responded (except you) said their doctor placed them on some sort of restrictions.  Now I'm all paranoid that my doctor (who I think the world of) did not say anything to me about any sort of restrictions.  For all I know, I can go run a marathon and lift weights later.  Do you remember the details of your SCH which resulted in no restrictions?  i.e. was it small?  I feel like I was a twit for not asking about this yesterday and now I feel stupid calling and being like, Hey, we talked about this for like 10 minutes yesterday, are you sure you didn't forget to tell me I wasn't on restrictions?  So I was hoping to talk to someone in a similar situation who could be like, oh, I wasn't on restrictions because it was less than a cm in size, or because by the time they found it, the baby was 9 times as big as the SCH, etc. etc.

Hi! I'm happy to help in any way I can remember. It's been almost two years so the details are a little murky. At that point I was getting ultrasounds weekly and both boys had HBs and were measuring on track. The SCH was about half the size of one of them so not exactly small but not huge either. My RE told me I might experience spotting or even some bleeding, and if I did I was to take it super easy until they could fit me in. But without bleeding he said I wasn't under any restrictions. I had no bleeding and the SCH was gone within two weeks. I did put myself on pelvic rest (throughout the entire pregnancy) but it wasn't a result of any recommendation. I just felt better being extremely cautious. So do whatever makes you comfortable, including calling your doctor!

Thanks Missa, that makes me feel a lot better.  I haven't had any bleeding or spotting at all, so I'm wondering if that's the reason for no restrictions.  It seems like everyone else that has had the restrictions had some sort of bleeding or spotting episode so that must be it.  

I feel so silly now for wondering why I wasn't on restrictions and thinking my OB was nuts.  Now that I know that neither of us had restrictions placed and neither of us had bleeding/spotting, that has to be it.  Thanks for the peace of mind!
