Well guess?  I'M GETTING A NEW DOG!  And guess what else?  New dog is my old dog's sister from the same litter!!!!!

I won't get her until Christmas, unless I can figure out a weekend before then to get back to the OH.  I want her NAO, but it might be better if I want until then because I am going out of town for Thanksgiving.

Yeah.  I'm really sad about it and I miss her. 

She will always be my baby.  I just can't deal with having to be connected to him over her.  He tries to hold it over my head and control me.  It's just not a good thing.

And I'm really happy because while she is still young, I won't have to deal with all the puppy stuff.  She'll be 3 in on March 16.

I do have some guilt that I'm "replacing" Nera, but I would still take her back in a heartbeat if he didn't want her any longer.  I actually had it put into the separation agreement that he can't get rid of her without checking with me first.
