WWS12D? Pregnancy Announcement at work

So, when would S12 announce?  I'm 12 weeks today with no spotting and just starting to feel better.  Saw the baby and heartbeat on an u/s at 8.5 weeks.  I'm anxious to announce, because I'm a terrible secret keeper.  My next Dr. appointment is Wednesday.  Would you wait until after your next doctor appointment or just bite the bullet and tell now?  I have a cute announcement picture that I'm excited to send out!

depends what is expected at the dr apt on wed? another ultrasound? doppler? (can they do doppler yet? I don't remember?) or just a 'hey, how ya feeling?' appointment?

I would wait because I'm weirdly superstitious. That picture is adorable!

It's Wednesday of next week, so I'd be almost 13.5 weeks by then.  I'm assuming he'll try the Doppler, but other than that it's just a how ya doing appointment?

I would wait, but that's the worrier in me.  I didn't announce until I was 20 weeks with my LO.  Great pic!

I'd wait, but I didn't announce even to family very early. Super cute photo!

I would announce, but I am pretty close with my team. 

The pic is adorable, but I have to ask because that is all I see - I assume the train tracks are old, and not in use anymore? Please say yes.

Well, that's my other issue.  We recently re-org'd and I got a new boss based out of a different location.  I'm not really sure how to tell him and I don't have a 1-1 meeting with him until next week Thursday.  It really doesn't feel right to just send him an email with a picture though...  Ugh,

Yeah. If it were me, I would wait and tell him in person.

I would announce now. You don't have any reason to think something is wrong. I'm impressed that this is your 4th and you aren't showing enough at 12w to have forced an early announcement!

Love the picture. Have fun, announcing is one of my favorite pregnancy things.

1) That pic is freakin' adorable!

2) I would prob wait until after the dr appt and after you tell your boss one on one.

If you are close with your co-workers I would tell them now.  With DD I had a hard time keeping it in because I was friends with them and I had told my other non-work friends.  If they are just co-workers and you are not that close I would wait until after your appointment next week.  Cute pic btw!

Can you call him and tell him over the phone before you send out the picture?  I do think that you should tell him first, even if it is just a few minutes before you tell everyone else!

I think I'll wait.  I looked at his calendar and he is totally swamped over the next week anyway, and I think it will just be better.  If someone out right asks me before then, I'll spill the beans, but I think it'll be good to wait.  Thanks for all the advice!  You ladies really are the best!
