Flinstone vitamin users

Regular prenatals aggravate my nausea and I am having a hard time eating my gummy prenatals so I am thinking its time to take the Flinstone route. Are you taking folic acid in addition to these vitamins? How many are you taking daily and is there anything else I need to know about switching?

I just realized how silly it sounds for me to be asking so many questions about vitamins. Pregnancy clearly feeds anxiety!

Re: Flinstone vitamin users

  • Last pregnancy I did just the flintstones.  I took two a day and called it even, per my OB's advice.  Nothing extra and I had a beautifully healthy baby girl.  This time I seem to be able to stomach an actual prenatal, which is great.

  • Last pregnancy I took 2 flintstones and a DHA supplement. DHA is very important for brain health and function :)

  • I take one Flintstones and two little folic acid pills. I think it adds to be 1000mcg of it which the doc said was ok. I only weigh 115lbs so I didn't wanna take two but I thought about maybe doing 1 1/2. They don't make my tummy hurt or make me nauseous at all. I take them after dinner.
