Target with the Red Card and Similac checks. I scoured Craigslist for the checks and was able to find a ton that way, I think I only paid full price a few times.

I also have a TON of extra that we may be willing to ship to you at a significantly discounted cost/can (+shipping) -- once our pedi gives us the green light to move to WCM. We go into the pedi in 3 weeks, and at that point the girls will be nearly 10m adjusted (just over a year actual), so we'll have to see what he says. If he tells us to move off of the formula -- either immediately or even gradually at that point, I'd be happy to talk sending it your way if that's of interest!

Target with red card- also price at target stores may vary slightly by location so if you have a few stores in your area, be sure to look at the price at each store. In my case it made a difference of about .40 per canister.

Walmart is cheapest around here but they never have it in stock. So frustrating!!!! I usually end up at target and buy early in case one or the other is out.

Have you checked with insurance? Mine will cover it if it is ' medically necessary'

I called my insurance company bcbs and they actually will cover this with a prescription from ped. So I was paying 670 amonth for my twins formula and now I just have to pay a 20 copay for a 3 mth supply. So wish I wld of called sooner.

Pediatricians can give a prescription for neosure?!

I think its safe to say most insurance companies won't pay for it. Good for you!!!!! Mine will not.

My insurance company said they would cover the neosure as long as my ped would send a prescription to them well actually express scripts due to them being premature and bc its medically necessary. Then express scripts ships it out for a 90 day supply at a time. My ped had no problem doing it. Hope some of you have some luck with it bc I was shocked they would.

I just called my insurance to ask and they said that Neosure wasn't listed on some list so it wasn't covered. I have BCBS so I'm wondering if I should talk to someone else. They said I could submit claims for it anyway to see if it would get paid.

I do know someone who is a NICU Nurse (actually where my daughter was), but I'd feel terrible asking.  They had already hooked us up with 4 cases of those 2 oz bottles.
