Waking earlier than usual

For the past two days my 16 month old has woken up at 5:30 in the morning ready to start the day. His usual wake time is 7 or 7:30. I'm convinced he's waking up because he's hungry, but nothing in his daily routine has changed. He's eating the same, napping, and going to bed as usual. Has anyone had this happen? Where they just all of a sudden wake up starving? He's had spurts where his eating has increased, but nothing like this! I'm hoping its a phase!

My son's wake time is between 5:00 and 7:00.... I never know what I'm going to get! It's been earlier than usual for us lately too. Sometimes I think he's hungry, sometimes I think he's cold, sometimes I think it molars. I don't really know....such a crap shoot!
