Update and BC question

It's good to hear you're doing well.  Sounds like this friend was sent to you right when you needed him most. 

I was on NuvaRing for over 10 years and never had a problem with it.  I have stomach problems so I was never comfortable using a pill.

I'm so glad things are going well for you.

I was on the pill for 11 years and didn't have any problems.

What a wonderful blessing during such a difficult time in your life, Sparrow.  Thank you for keeping us updated. 

I used the pill, the shot and the patch.  I hated the shot and the patch due to their side effects (gained 50 lbs in 7 months with them).  Good luck!

Thanks for the update!  SO happy to hear you're doing well.  I sincerely hope I could handle a tragedy as well as you have.  You're really an inspiration!

I was on the BC pill for 10 years and never had any issues, so that's what I'd recommend.  But not the low dose one - I don't think it's as effective.

Sparrow, I'm so glad to see you have found some peace. I've thought about you a lot. I'm happy you met someone wonderful! As for BC, the only pills that wouldn't make me nuts was Loestrin 24. Someone mentioned earlier these might have been discontinued. I'm not sure what I will do if they are no longer available as they really were fabulous. Like you, I am shying away from IUDs or arm implants. I've heard bad things about both, but some women love them. Perhaps the ring is the best bet.
