Yesterday was our one year anniversary. I was 18 he was 27 and we were together 4 months before we got married. He didn't even ask me to be his GF just asked me to marry him!
Married just over 10 months, together for almost 4 years. We are incredibly grateful for this pregnancy, DH has some issues that led his doctor to believe we would need assistance getting pregnant, so this was a very very welcomed "surprise". We had just started saving for IUI/IVF treatments and planning our timeline.
It is interesting to see how the perception of marrying age has changed over time. We got married at 22 (DH was 1 month from 23), but had been together for 3.5 years at the time. While we certainly aren't OLD, I don't feel like it was that young either. Although, chronological age doesn't always mean a whole lot. Anyway, our EDD is sometime in the latter half of May, and our anniversary is 5/19, so he/she will be a 2 year anniversary gift We'll have been together 5.5 years total when he/she arrives. I'll be 24 and DH will be all but 25. It's on the young-ish side, but that was always out plan
Happy Anniversary and congrats! Been married just over 4 yrs now. Got married and 24/25. Seem like a great time. Ur still young but know who u r and what u want.
Happy Anniversary! My husband and I will be celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary on May 16th which is also going to be our 7 year anniversary together which happens to be about one week before our little one is due.
We will celebrate our five year anniversary in December :-) DH will be deployed, so we will celebrate over Skype this year! We got married very young, I was 19 and he was 22
Everything happened pretty quickly for DH and I. We met on ChristianMingle May 2012, were engaged by September and married by February! Now expecting but couldn't be happier. Anyone remember the colossal blizzard that hit New England in February? That was our wedding day. People say rain is a sign of good luck, here's to hoping snow means even more!
