Happy Monday everyone, more importantly, happy Monday of a three day weekend! What's everyone up to today? I think I might have to take DS to the doctor, he has been sick, and I'm pretty sure it is just a cold, but DH is paranoid because croup is going around daycare, so I guess I will take him in to appease him. Just finished my workout, waiting for the coffee to brew. Supposed to go to the Sabres game tonight, but now DH feels sick too, so we'll see about that.

I wish I had today off! I am sitting here sipping my coffee still being bitter that my drive was so easy this morning due to no one else having to go to work.

My work is open today but LO's daycare is closed so we are home. We are going to venture out to the mall area after nap time. I have some clothes to drop off at the donation center after cleaning out my closet yesterday. Then I'm headed to get new boots, then I'm meeting a friend and her baby at the mall because gymboree has a sale today.

I'm waiting for either DH or my dad to bring back T's car seat that DH left in his car and took to work, leaving me stranded here with a long to-do list. When that happens and T wakes up from his nap, we're going grocery shopping and hopefully I'll FINALLY get a call today with a job offer!  This has been the longest three weeks everrr!

Oh, and I have to find a daycare for when/if I get that job...not cool.

My daycare is mostly teachers and students' children, so that is closed too. DH is an attorney, so court etc. is closed too. My friend wanted to go to the mall, but I said no way since it is Canadian thanksgiving too, our mall will be crowded (border town). DS's ears are cleAr, so I think we are gonna make it to the hockey game tonight. Decorating for Halloween now. Tried to find a fall wreath, but I couldn't because Home Depot is FiLLED with Christmas stuff! Eww. This is getting out of hand, and it is making me resentful of the Christmas season.

H has the day off but he's using it next Monday instead. I don't know what we will do today. Maybe we will take the train somewhere. I want to make apple muffins too.

We're running errands, then to the park and Humane society to walk dogs - it's a beautiful, sunny fall day in the Pac. NW!

My morning was too nutty to get on TB.  Nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual morning, get-out-the-door stuff: shower, dress, make-up, fix hair, put lunch bag in other school bag, fold a load of diapers, wake Charlotte, change diaper and dress her, fix breakfast, load car, daycare drop-off, and head to school.

Been teaching all day, same as usual.  Having a team meeting after school to pick some standards to focus on across the curriculum this year, and to nail down some instructional best practices we want to put in place.  We get to dig through some data, which makes my heart sing.

I have to find time to get to the fabric store tonight.  Maybe after daycare pick-up?  Maybe between our meeting and daycare pick-up?  Hmmmm.  Then I need to find a night this week to go to my parents and sew - my machine is STILL waiting for a part!
