Discharge that smells like...?(TMI)

If this is something that I should call the doctor about then I will. I sometimes just feel silly calling all the time for something that is normal at this stage in pregnancy (although whether it's normal or not idk yet). I'm 37+5 and today I've noticed that my discharge smells like vinegar. It's clear (not white or yellow) and I don't feel any other symptoms like itching or burning. The smell isn't foul, it just smells like something a little vinegary. Has anyone else experienced this?

You could have bacterial vaginosis (BV).  I'd have it ruled out by your OB, it could be that or some other kind of infection.....if nothing comes back, then you'll know it's just part of pregnancy.

Have you had sex in the last few days? Changed soaps? Prenatal pills? If not, I would call or bring it up at your next appt.

Can't hurt to call it in. If it is bacterial better to get it handled prior to delivery!

It can't hurt to call your doctor like pp's have said, but I think that smell can be normal. As long as it does not smell BAD...and you will know when it does. I have experienced a vinegary smell several times before and nothing has been wrong. Change in odors can be a result from changing pH levels in the vag. But like I said, I would still want to have it checked out by the doc, especially if I was pregnant. Always better safe than sorry!
