Pumpkin Ice Cream!

I had almost given up hope after checking the ice cream section of every store I walk into. No pumpkin ice cream. I checked Wegmans and Target this morning and no such luck. While making dinner I ran out of soy sauce for my beef with broccoli and ran across the street to Food Lion. I trudged to the ice cream freezer expecting disappointment for the 37465839 time this fall. What? Can it be? It IS! ITS FINALLY HEREEEEEE!

It is so weird seeing packaging that is identical to another name. I'm going to assume Edy's and Dreyer's are the same thing. Is pumpkin or pumpkin spice? Pumpkin sounds delicious.

What's Dreyer's? It's called Pumpkin Patch. Last year they released the pumpkin in the slow churned (lower fat/calories) and it tasted just as good. Didn't see that this time but maybe it's on the way!

I've loved pumpkin ice cream since I worked at TCBY when I was 14. They had pumpkin frozen yogurt. People thought it was gross and now it's a nationwide trend yo!

I found pumpkin cream cheese at our grocery store for DD. I'm feeling very generous with the pumpkin sharing tonight. I think my pumpkin heart grew three sizes today.

That is so weird, because I thought i was going crazy here...In Colorado it must be Dryers but in Nebraska it is Edys, and I could never figure out the difference. I grew up with Dryers and never knew it was marketed differently elsewhere.
