I find it really bizarre that people get the day off for Columbus Day. No one around here does. I don't think they even do a parade or anything anymore.

I am holding out for when we get trader joe's 2 buck chuck. I should buy stock in the fucking place and haven't ever stepped foot inside one! Any place that has $2 wine is a winner in my book!

Its the same way here. Not many people get Columbus day off...my DH has to work tomorrow and he works construction for the Union.
