That must be hard watching her get sick and not want to comfort her with nursing. I plan on starting to wean DD next month. I'm not looking forward to it but it must be done.
I weaned Nathan when I was pregnant with Lucas bfing while pregnant is HARD! I'm not ready to wean Lucas yet, that would mean learning how to be a good mom to him without the boob and I'm not ready for that.
I would like to night wean but not sure how to do that since the boys share a room.
Awe, don't feel guilty. Kids get sick. And remember, even though you're pg your hormones can get a bit wacky after weaning. Took me about a month to feel more normal.

Ditto this. I dried up when I got pregnant with my second and my mood was really down for about 2 weeks.
Thanks, originally I was trying for a year, now 18 months but lo loves to nurse so hopefully I'll be able to wean one day, he still doesn't sttn, he did for a while but now wakes up to nurse after about 6 hours.
I also weaned about 3 weeks ago. I think it may have been starting to feel more uncomfortable partly cause of the new pregnancy. But it also just felt like the right time. It was a little emotional at first, like the others said. But we still have special moments together with the bottle that I love. And I am so relieved to give my boobs a break, it feels great to have smaller ones again! Especially since I will be back at it in only 8 months! Good luck!
