Pregnant in Pasadena?

Hi all! Anyone in the Pasadena area? I'm going to be a FTM (only about 5 weeks along and so excited)! I've lived in MD for under 2 years and most of our friends already have children or won't be trying for a while. I'd love to connect with some other soon to be mommies in the area! (We are 28.)

  • I am right near Pasadena as well, am 27 and my husband is 28 - we're expecting our first in June as well and are super excited. Not exactly sure how this website works yet but excited to meet new mommas in the area too :)
  • I'm in Pasadena as well! FTM about 8 weeks along. Which OB have you been seeing that's local? I kind of went on a whim as my old gyn is in Ellicott City I wanted someone closer. I'm 29 DH 34.

  • Mary- I'm in Chesterfield. I ended up going with Pavillion obgyn in the AAMC complex.
  • I go for my first sono today --- if the weather allows it . I am 7 weeks and change and am due 9/7. Is Balt /Wash a good hospital to deliver in ? It's only about 5 minutes from our house , so location wise it was a no-brainer .

    How is everyone feeling ?

My brother and sister in law both work at bwmc. They explicitly said that I should not deliver there. I also have a friend that delivered there and she said she had an awful experience. Bwmc does not have a NICU either. It is 5 mins from my house too, but I deliver at St. Agnes.

  • Unfortunately I've heard the same about BWMC...I thought they were great for my NT and AS scans but don't know anything about the labor/delivery dept first hand. I'm delivering at Harbor-I had to go to their ER once early in the pregnancy and was very happy with how everything was handled.
  • I delivered at bwmc and loved my experience! We will go there for this one too even though we have the option to go to Anne arundel. I live in Severna Park and am due in late July.
