First time mama and new to EVERYTHING. Didn't even think to nickname the baby before its born but Junebug is sweet and I also like the weekly fruit idea. Like right now ours is a sweet pea. This is so fun

Nicknames aren't mandatory...fairly certain our ancestors probably didn't concern themselves with such ideas. We didn't have a nickname for my daughter when I was pregnant with her, probably because by the time it sunk in that a baby was coming, I was showing.
Since this is one of the few items my DH has taken interest to, we have named it "Pat" for the time being. We are Team Green and in the 80's/90's there was this movie called It's Pat where you never knew if Pat was a boy or a girl so the name seems fitting for now. My BIL is named Pat but so far he's not offended!
I am not a big nicknamer, although I think i was calling my son sweetpea before he was born. After reading this thread, maybe I will steal the popular 'june bug' from you guys. It's cute. Also, I think we know what our facebook group name will be (whenever that gets started)...
Love how creative everyone is! Little One is ours right now...I'm sure more will find their way into our vocab as we go along and can tell more people. We do sometimes use the fruit for that week... Little Appleseed or sweet pea.
We have been calling the baby "lil June bug". I found a maternity shirt that has a lady bug on it with the words.....expecting a lil June bug! We love it!
Usually when I'm pregnant we just call it my tumor, but thanks to some awesome ladies (namely @mermaidsmagic ) it's now been dubbed Robotnik. That's right. THIS is what my baby looks like:
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
We haven't said much of anything honestly and probably won't until after the ultrasound Thursday. After that I guess we need to come up with something. I think those of us with losses try to not get too excited too early. Sad but true.

I agree... I haven't gave this one a no yet. After a MMC in July I want to wait until after the first ultrasound which is nov 18. At 10 weeks so far away.
Started TTC July 24, 2012
BFP #1 June 15, 2013 ended in MMC July 21, 2013
BFP #2 October 13, 2013 ended in natural miscarriage November 1, 2013
We've been saying it or little dee/baby dee. (Our last name starts with D.) I had a friend tell me a few days ago that I can't name little dee Diesel because she thinks its horrible* so now she's calling it Diesel as a joke.
*No offense to those that like the name or have used it already. Just not our style.
Re: What Are You Nicknaming The Baby?
We don't have a nickname yet for this one.
