Postponed by a polyp....

So my SIS showed one if not two polyps so I need those out before any embies can go in. Sigh. Looks like plan will be to proceed with stims. If we get any eggs we will do ICSI and freeze. Then do the hysteroscopy the day after ER. This will all be within the few days before our move likely....then I will have to fly back from our new province to do a FET in Dec or Jan assuming we have any embies.

    I'm sorry you're going through this. Hopefully your FET won't be delayed any longer and that the polyp gets removed without a hitch. (((HUGS)))

    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
    12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    Sorry to hear that.  Just wanted to share that with my first IVF, RE found a polyp before I cycled.  Had to delay for a hysteroscopy, but once my lining had a chance to rebuild afterward, it ended up being a success.  Hoping the same is in the cards for you!
    10/10: Married; 5/11: Dx: Blocked Fallopian Tube; 7/11: D&C/Hysteroscopy to remove polyp

    I had a polyp too with my first IVF (well and now with this FET too!). Both times they removed them prior to embryo transfer so my cycle wouldn't be disrupted. Can you ask if this is a possibility? It is a really easy surgery and it didn't delay things at all for me

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    Because we move across the country in a month we don't have time to do the procedure and then stim next cycle. It's easier financially and logistically to do a freeze all and take out the polyp right after ER.
