I borrowed one of those beverage warmers that plugs in for hot chocolate for DS's party tomorrow. I have a couple of questions...
1. Is hot chocolate basically the same as chocolate milk?
2. Could I just buy gallons of chocolate milk and pour it right into the warmer?
3. If you were going to offer a booze to put in it, what would it be?
Thanks
Re: Hot Chocolate Advice
I think Baileys (they have a few flavors now) would be really good. Vanilla vodka or whipped cream vodka would be good too.
@emkatrine Can you link? I can't see the pic.
Nevermind...now I can see it!
I would use a recipe to make my own hot chocolate. There are a lot of simple ones out there where you add cocoa, sugar, and sometimes a splash of vanilla and pinch of salt to plain milk on the stove top. I don't know about chocolate milk, but that might work.
The chocolate milk that I was going to use is very thick. I was just wondering because I have to make so many other things and wanted a short cut for this item.
LOL. Don't worry, I WILL NOT use packets!
Baileys, Frangelico, Kahlua and Chambord would all be delcious alcohol additions to hot chocolate.
As for alcohol...Kahlua, Bailey's, some sort of peppermint liqueur.
