Re: PAL Check In
What are some PAL challenges you have faced recently? Patricia has been at the forefront of my thoughts more this month as I've been blogging for Capture Your Grief. It's just hard to think of all the things we should be doing together as a family now. My older brother and I were 13 months apart and Patricia and Anna should've been 12 months apart if everyone was born on time! So in a way I know what their relationship would be like as playmates and I grieve it. When my brother first started talking, his favorite phrase was "no no baby." I dream of Patricia saying that to Anna when she gets into things she shouldn't!
QOTW: Are you planning anything special on October 15th for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day? We will light the same candle we did last year, which is the candle we lit at our wedding. It represents our family.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? We are taking a mini-road trip to attend a conference on an alternative form of therapy for Anna. We had one lesson with a practitioner this week and the theory and methods really felt right to me as a parent. However, it's very expensive and insurance doesn't cover it so we will take a financial hit, but hopefully it will be worth it.
