Things not to say to your RE

Apparently my RE's office is not down with thebump lingo! I called this morning to see if I could come in for my beta on Sun instead of Mon, and admitted that I've taken (too) many HPT's and all signs are pointing to a BFP. After having to clarify what BFP meant (duh?!), she then said they "strongly discourage anyone from taking any sort of test before their beta" because the hcg could still be in my system, to which I told her I tested out the trigger. It was like I was speaking a foreign language, and I felt like a moron. Too much time on thebump!!

Have any of you slipped and used acronyms or lingo that we use on here that may not be common knowledge?

That is funny. Actually my RE using a lot of forum speak from what I can tell. She was writing OPKs on my IUI sheet, and she's like "This is just a term I use for ovulation kit" and I'm like "Yea B, I'm in the forums" Then we high 5ed. 

Well we didn't really high 5, but you see where this is going.

I didn't use terms exactly, but I did tell my RE's Nurse that I was on a forum. She told me she could tell I'd done my research
