I have had BFP's at 9 DPO with both of my singleton pregnancies. I don't think it means anything other than you implanted relatively early and you are probably using a sensitive pregnancy test.
IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54
2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8

No. There is no correlation. A BFP at 9dpo means you implanted early enough for your hcg to rise and turn a test positive.

No it's not an indication of multiples. I've been pregnant 7 times. Of those 7, 2 of those had BFP at 9DPO. All of them by 11 DPO. I've never been pregnant with multiples.
Unfortunately, there is no way to tell until you have your ultrasound. You may have things that make you think multiples, but none of them are EXACT until you have an ultrasound.
HPT are made to pick up an hcg level of 5 or over. The normal level at 3 weeks pregnant, with a singleton or multiples could go up to 50. 4 weeks pregnant could still have a low hcg count of 10 or 20, but it's still pregnant and will still give you a +hpt. What matters is when your bean (or beans) implanted, that your hcg doubles every 36-48 hours, and that you have a healthy pregnancy. But for the record, here are the levels:
3 weeks LMP: 5 – 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 – 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 – 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 – 56,500 mIU/ml
7 – 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 – 229,000 mIU/ml
9 – 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 – 288,000 mIU/ml
13 – 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 – 254,000 mIU/ml
17 – 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 – 165,400 mIU/ml
25 – 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 – 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml
Now, that being said, I had a +hpt at 9dpiui and I'm having twins. But I didn't know for sure until we had the first ultrasound, despite how much I wished for, hoped for, or searched for possible "clues" to having twins. My biggest clue was that I had 3 eggs release under a stimulated and well monitored cycle.
Twins or not, Congrats! And welcome to the board!

3rd pregnancy- TWINS AGAIN lost both babies at 9 week appt
4th pregnancy- singleton- born at 38 weeks 1 day with the help of weekly 17P injections 5th pregnancy- CP in June 6th pregnancy It's a BOY
I have had 3 out of 4 bfp at 9 pdo and I know two of those were single pregnancies. I guess I don't know for sure yet this time but I am not expecting multiples this time either. Actually this time I got a very faint line that showed up just past the 10 minute mark at 8dpo. I tend to have higher hcg early in pregnancy though, it's just how my body works.
I feel like most people (here) get positives early. In my opinion, it's just likely you ovulated earlier than you realize. But I have heard that higher hcg can reveal twins!
Actually, only an ultrasound can reveal twins. HCG sometimes is higher with twins, but the normal ranges are large enough (factoring in that bodies differ and implantation) that it can't be relied on as an indicator. It's quite common to have low range HCG with multiples.

Possible? Sure. More likely? No. I've gotten BFPs for my 3 successful pregnancies at 7-9DPO and they were all singles. Just means it implanted earlier.
