Dirty Lurker

So, I have been lurking around the bump since we started TTC but couldn't really find my fit.  I was due July 15th and followed you guys during my pregnancy (creepy, I know) then ended up delivering my son at 30 weeks.  May 2012's board is boring, and I feel like the preemie board isn't the place for me.  I keep wanting to post on some of the threads so I figure it is time, if you'll have me!

He had a complicated 7 week hospital stay which felt like forever! But doesn't seem to have any long term problems from it.

I'm gonna try to jump in.  I'm shy usually, and apparently that also applies to online. 

I'm 28, my son, Zach is our first.  I have been married nearly 4 years.  I work for my husband from home but up until my mat leave I was a nurse.  I'm Canadian, but live in a border town, and its not unusual for us to shop, eat, vacation in Michigan.  We have unusual living arrangements, my younger sister and her 8 month old daughter live with us, and we sometimes jokingly refer to our house as the "commune" but it really is nothing of the sorts.

It is a houseful but we bought this house knowing we would have them with us, so it isn't too bad.  My hubby is a saint!

The babies get along great! They have never known any different though, and my niece is very easy going which helps I'm sure.

(Sidenote...does anyone ever wonder sometimes when you welcome a lurker if they secretly think you're a total bitch/weirdo/whatever from lurking and reading what you posted in the past? Or maybe I'm just paranoid.)

Welcome! My LO was a 36 weeker, but only 4 lbs at birth to due a variety of issues. I never really felt "at home" on the preemie board either, but I think you'll love being part of j12

Same here.  July 2012 for life!  Welcome!  I'm glad you joined us.  I'm so happy to hear he doesn't seem to have any lasting effects from being born so early.  What a tough guy!

<------ Dirty Lurker here too.  I mainly bump from work, but I've found tons of useful info from you all so I don't feel like a complete idiot all the time. I wish they would have had this when the girls were little.

I can't speak for the rest of the lurkers, but I haven't formed opinions on anyone, well maybe good ones since I feel like I "know" you guys!  <--- I realize that's creepy, but being a lurker I can't help it, may as well be honest. 

And pumpkin, YES!  Year round in our house.  Everyone loves it!  I prefer it in savory applications though!
