Then & now

I just really want to share a then & now photo - I've seen this done before and I loved those posts. It was always so promising to see other babies' progress. Anyway, first pic was from his birth at 27w2d weighing 2lbs 6.5oz. Second one is from today, 16 weeks actual, 3w2d adjusted weighing 9lbs 14.5oz. We're just so proud of our little guy!

Here is my baby girl after eating a red velvet cupcake at a birthday party. We are still working on neatness, but she is having fun-she loves chocolate! She is around 23 lbs, and she is walking more-she only occasionally still walks on her knees. We are still working on words--she will say Uh-oh.

@direy25 thanks for sharing! What a little fighter and he's gaining weight like a champ!!! Great story!

I'm ruptured and at this moment I'm 26 weeks and hoping to hold out from delivering until 34 weeks while on hospital bed rest. Your story is giving me hope that if I hold out a bit longer, I can take my little guy home sooner! Thank you!

Here's my guys born at 28w4d, 2lbs and 2lbs 7oz. 10 days old here. At 2 years they were 20lbs and 23lbs!

Then.....days after birth...2.5 lbs each.

And now! Taken a week ago at 11 months actual (8.5 adjusted) -- guessing they weigh around 16-17lbs. We'll know for sure when we go back to the pedi in a few short weeks!

Love love love everyone's photos! Thanks for sharing ladies! @kvochka - lots of luck to you, hope you can keep your LO cooking a bit longer! I can't imagine how tough HBR must be, I was only on modified bed rest before everything really took a turn and that was bad enough.

Then and Now:
My 26w2 was born at 1 pound 12 ounces and now, at 20 months, she is still tiny at 17 pounds 14 ounces, but full of attitude! Here she is towards the end of her NICU stay (about 2 weeks or so before we brought her home) and the other one is right after she had ice cream for the first time about a month or 2 ago.
