1-2% I think I like those odds! BFP!

I am literally still in shock. After hearing that our odds of conceiving on our own was only 1-2% and with IUI/Injects was 8-9%, I never thought that this would happen now, on our last natural cycle.

Yesterday I had a huge temp drop so I thought for sure my period would be here soon and was ready to call the RE about setting up a monitoring appointment. Today when my temperature went back up and being 13 dpo I thought heck I have plenty of cheap tests laying around why not. I couldn't believe when I actually saw a line and didn't have to squint. After peeing on another cheap wandfo test I broke out the digital test that has been laying around for over a year and sure enough Pregnant showed up. My first beta came in at 58 and I go in for a repeat on Friday.

What we Did: This was our 12th cycle, 15th month trying. The only thing I did differently other than OPKs and temping was that I started taking Metformin. I did have my HSG done last cycle. We hit O-4, O-2 and O.

Symptoms: Honestly if it wasn't for the + HPT I would swear that my period was on it's way. Increase in CM and a little more cramping than normal, but that's it.

How I Told DH: I called him to see if he wanted to get lunch since I had to stop by the RE's office which is near his work. He thought it was just for the monitoring appointment. When he got in the car I said "Do you want to see a picture of Sophie?" and showed him the picture I took of our puppy wearing a Big Sister shirt. He just laughed and said that's cute. Then I said "Well do you know what that means?" It took him a second before it clicked and he asked if I was pregnant. Then I showed him the digital test. I think he is just as much in shock as I am.

EDD: June 19th which is perfect being a professor and having the ability to have the summer off.

Mushy Stuff: I am so thankful to have found such an amazing board full of supportive and very knowledgeable ladies, I honestly don't know what I would have done without this board. Special shout out to the ladies in the TTGP IF check-in. I really hope that everyone gets the BFP that they are hoping for.
