I'm judging a former co-worker hard!

Yesterday I bumped into an old co worker from 20 years ago (I used to work for my dad when I was in high school and was visiting there yesterday). I was telling her about what I've been up to the past 20 years and all about my DD. She was a single mother to her daughter who is now almost 38 (and her daughter is now a single mother herself). She asked me how many kids I had and when I told her just one, she replied, "One is one too many girl!" OMFG. I know single parenting is hard... shit, I am one, but come on! Who says that kind of stuff? I don't know, maybe I'm being too harsh but really?

I love my kid with all my heart, but for sure one is one too many at times. Kids are little jerks, and there are days when I want to run away and drink wine till I pass out.
