Looking for a unique baby shower venue in Chicago's west suburbs!

My MIL is throwing me a baby shower, but she's having trouble finding a venue so I figure I can at least point her in the right direction. I know she's looking for something reasonable on the wallet, but not anything boring. It seems she's not a fan of the bare bones park district facilities, and I know those seem to be the cheapest options out there. Anyway...I'll entertain any ideas you have! As long as it's not outrageously expensive. It would be nice to find something out of the ordinary and not so traditional...if that exists. We're open to location as long as it's somewhere between Oak Park and Wheaton, no further north than Schaumburg and no further south than La Grange. Also, the shower will most likely be taking place in mid-January. Help!!!

I had my bridal shower at "Under the Gingko Tree", an adorable little B&B in Oak Park. Easy parking, very nice owners. We had about 35-45 people and it was lovely

Mine is at Muvico in Rosemont, but only because I'm a movie buff and love rage place. Lots of other fun, new places In Roswmont now.

I'm not super familiar with geography there sorry, but I had mine at Honey cafe in Glen Ellyn. Food was amazing (which is most important lol) and its really cute and affordable.

DD2's middle name is Adelle and the first thing people ask is ...."like the singer?" to which I have to reply "no, like the restaurant in Wheaton." Adelle's in Wheaton is one of our favorite restaurants. The space is pretty and the food is amazing. We hosted DD2's baptism luncheon there a couple of months ago and all of our guests could not get over the food.

I had a shower at Pinecone Cottage in downtown Downers Grove. It was really cute inside and guests liked the afternoon tea

I just hosted one at Le Chocolat du Bouchard in downtown Naperville and it was great. They were easy to work with. We had 25 women. It was wonderful, everyone had a great time!
