Anxiety regarding 2nd VBAC

Our daughter was born via c section after failure to progress (50+ hours of fun). My son was born 3 yrs later via VBAC, with some complications: cord around neck, was in a weird position and ultimately required a vacuum delivery. When he was 13 months old, he died in an accident. We are now 6.5 months along with another boy. As happy as we are about this pregnancy, my husband and I are both filled with anxiety about this birth. OB still recommends VBAC as every pregnancy is different, but I am SO terrified of something horrible happening. My births aren't exactly drama free! Any advice? Words of encouragement? Psychic abilities ; )?

I'm so sorry for your loss! My heart hurts for you and it's totally understandable for you to have anxieties about another baby.

The logic of it is that there are risks either way but your doctor is right every birth is different and sometimes after your body goes through a vaginal delivery the next time can be a little bit easier!
T&P to you! You can do it! Trust your dr, she will take care of you! This baby will be just fine!
