Gift for Dad suggestions

I would like to get my husband a nice gift for being such a great guy through this pregnancy. Any suggestions guys? Up to $500. Not a huge sports fan. (Fishing, beer brewing, Mtn biking, guitar playin man I have.)
Would appreciate some guy advice here!

  • P.S. beer/BJs are a given. Looking for something that you would hold onto through the years. Something sentimental. Dig deep for me guys come on!

If he's into the things you listed maybe:

A new guitar... if its a boy, see if you can find it kind of a lighter/baby blue color?

Beer brewer... upgrade his home brewing kit?  get a special beer he can brew in honor of his child?

Throw him a party for him and his guy friends where he can celebrate and get that one last wild night in for a while?

If he does wear jewelry, the idea Jack gave would work, or maybe a nice watch with engraving on the back?

That being said, us dads don't really need a gift... the baby and your carrying it for 9ish months is present enough.

I see you've done your homework.

New Guitar? New Bike? Camping gear? This is where it really comes more down to what he needs and wants.

I would suggest getting him something to tie his hobbies in with the baby. If he's really been involved he'd probably rather have money spent toward his new baby than on something for himself that he won't have as much time for anyway.

Or you could send him on one last big fishing or biking trip before the baby comes to get it out of his system for a few months.

If you want to do something for the hobbies you could do something that helps cut time out of the process.  For brewing there are dozens of gadgets out there that can help do that.  I worked to get my process down to as little time as possible before our little guy came so that I can squeeze brewing in whenever there is a window of opportunity.
