Finally some good news..after dealing with a shitstorm for the last two months and my husband being fired three weeks ago. He got a job today! He tried everything, and couldn't get hired on anywhere. So he told me he's always wanted to try driving a truck, I mean he was a Calvary Scout and they drive so why not. I told him go for it, if anything we can always travel together in the summer when the kids are out of school. Im all for seeing America.

So he contacted a company and he got hired on instantly, the company is in Iowa and he reports on the 21st. He'll have to sign a 8 month contract with them and he gets a sign on bonus and they pay for his CDL and training and after it's all done he can go to work somewhere else if he feels the need. The only downfall is he will be gone about 3 weeks at a time, but honestly it's not anything we haven't done before. The army prepared us for this, lol! It will still be hard but at least there is a silver lining finally! I was really starting to get depressed about our situation, and I feel like I can breathe a little easier now.

Oh and the funniest part of all of this, the second the hung up with the trucking company the local prison called for a job interview. Like literally one minute later, isn't that how it always works!?!
