Hi ladies. Everything is a little crazy for me too as of yesterday RE called with what I thought would be my last blood work but now they are saying my Hcg have plateaued and looks as if I could possibly be having a tubal pregnancy So today and tomorrow I have to take time off of work to go have a ultrasound done today ... Not by my RE because he's down in LA doing surgeries... So he's passed me over to my reg. obgyn and she wants a ultrasound... More blood work done tomorrow morning and then we will decide if I need the methotrexate shot or not. I'd rather not be putting something so harsh into my body but if its needed lets just get it over with. I'm kinda in shock all this is happening now when I felt like I was just getting over the initial pain of losing this pregnancy.

  • *HUGS 2Mamaz* I'm so sorry about the BFN.

Check in: We got matched with a surrogate! Our agency called us right before our vacation and we got to look over the info for a GC...she seems amazing and her answers about the type of relationship she wants, selective reduction, etc. match ours EXACTLY. She is supposed to get our profile today and hopefully we will get to meet her in the next 2-ish weeks. I'm so excited...

We also just got back from a crazy road trip (WI to Nashville to Maine to Niagara Falls and home). It was a blast! DH and I had so much fun. I love Nashville and we got to stay in a private cottage literally 10 steps from the ocean in Maine. The fall colors were gorgeous. We had such a great time...however, the laundry we had when we got back was definitely not so fun :)

QOTW:  Jason Statham. HE. IS. GORGEOUS.

*HUGS* I hope the ultrasound and blood work go alright and they give you some definite answers. FX you don't need the methotrexate.

  • ((HUGS)) Lacy & Mama!

We are on the road to our FET, I have an ultrasound on Friday and transfer next Friday if all goes right. Things feel like they are moving fast but at the same time soooo slow, and I am wavering between hope and just wanting to be off this roller coaster, which is why we jumped right in.

Celebrity crush. Hugh Jackman, and a few years back I got to meet him at Comic Con San Diego, and he was SOOOO nice! So it sealed the deal :-)

    April 2013 DE IVF= BFN

September 2013 DE IVF (Fingers Crossed) = BFFFN! again...

Stinkerbelle glad you are moving forward and wishing you all the best in this cycle!

I have a profile that MH and I are looking over. Wish we had more to choose from but I knew going with my clinic the pickings were slim. She is fine though. After we say yes then hopefully the wait for another couple to like her will be short!

    Picking one is no fair.

Charlie Hunnam is hot! Noah Wylie hot in a nerdy way and Luke Bryan I just love!! Sorry I didn't play by the rules :)

  • Hi Ladies,

Thought I would do one last check in, and just let you know that I'm rooting for you all, and wish you all the very best! DH and I have decided to live child-free, and we are both very accepting of it. It was roughly last week when I realized that neither of us has really been enthusiastic about this DEmbryo transfer, and we just don't want to go ahead with it. So, you may remove us from the list, and know that I'm thinking about you all, always. And I wish you happiness and best wishes.

But, I will weigh in on my celebrity crush anyway for the QOTW: Dave Gahan, lead singer of Depeche Mode, love, love, love him!

SAIF/PAIF absolutely ALWAYS welcome to respond!

First, sending my T&P's and big ((hugs)) to the many TPR ladies that are in need of them!

AFM: My DH and I have decided to hold off transferring our last 2 embryos until January 2014.  Hopefully, a little break will get both of us in a better place, both physically and emotionally.  But, I will continue to support all of you that are cycling through the end of this year...so I have no plans to leave this board....I would miss you all too much and want to cheer you all on!

  • Hi ladies,

As always, my thoughts are with those who are struggling.
I think of you all often.

Best of luck to those moving forward!

To those taking a break, try to enjoy yourself!

Everyone, please try and do something extra special for yourself this week- we deserve it!!!

Well, it's no secret my week sucked.
My husband and I are trying to figure out our next steps if this FET doesn't work. I have very little hope it will work. I hope we can cycle right away and this doesn't drag on and on...

I am going to ask my RE if they can do any additional testing on me. I want to know sooner than later if we are dealing with anymore underlying issues.

  • Actually, things have really, really sucked over here.  The last two weeks have been awful.  My in-laws have been fostering a baby for nearly a year, since she came home from the hospital. And my husband and I realized that we felt she was already a part of the family, and that even though we hadn't been planning on kids just yet, this wasn't "kids," this was her, we cared about her and we wanted to adopt her.  And that same freaking day, we find out that now, after nearly a year, she'd finally been matched.  The train had already left the station, is the way it was put to us.  It has been very hard to let go, and of course I am wishing we had realized this was right for us just a couple weeks earlier--but there's no rushing some things, I guess.  My consolation is that the "other couple" is perfectly wonderful and she will be the light of their lives.  But of course, I wanted her to be the light of *my* life.

My cycle's going fine.  I have some baseline tests coming up next week but for now it's still just BCP.

Celebrity crush...nobody now, but most recent was Zachary Quinto.  And I don't care that he's gay, that's the beauty of a celebrity crush--doesn't matter! :)
  • Everything is going fairly well right now. Little one is kicking up a storm and keeping me up at night but I love every minute of it.

QOTD: I have 2. Hugh Laurie and Neil Patrick Harris.

  •  Hugs to all who need them, everyone here is never far from my T & P.

What is new for you this week? Or, what is same old? How are you doing?  Nothing new this week.  Into third tri and feeling more uncomfortable each day-said I wasn't going to complain when I finally got PG, but being PG and over 40 is no picnic!    LO kicking up a storm.

No celebrity crush here, watch very little tv-movies, not so into music.  My life's just too busy to pay much attention to overpaid celebrities.

TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. • @BeckyP005 - Thanks for checking in!  Baby John is doing well and is definitely a cutie.  Fortunately, my recovery is SO much easier than it was with my daughter (not sure why that was so rough), so I'm able to get out a little bit and enjoy the baby since I'm not in pain, have more energy, etc.  That has been really nice.
I hope things move along quickly after you make your donor selection.  You have waited long enough!  Take care!

  • Not a whole lot new with us, waiting for this current cycle to be over so we can start one more round of DIUI. This will for sure be our last this year and possibly last ever but we will see where we are at after next month. We are going to Greece at the end of November and I contemplated not doing IUI this month but I am so tired of not living my life. If I end up getting pregnant than great, if not, it will be the trip to help destress

    Hi everyone!!

Argyle, I'm so sorry you missed out on adopting that baby.  Your time will come, though.

Orangemel:  Good luck with your upcoming DIUI cycle.

JM1977:  Glad to hear little John is doing well!

Happywife:  Sorry you're feeling uncomfortable; when's your DD?

Lacy:  Sorry you might have an ectopic; I hope that's not the case.  Let us know what happens.

    MrsT4:  Enjoy your break!

Becky:  So exciting you have a profile to consider!

Sammer:  Congrats on finding a match!

AFM:  I had my baseline yesterday and was cleared to go, so I started taking estrogen, which I step up next week.  My donor starts her stims on Monday.  Yay!
Please let nothing go wrong this time!

Oh -- and celebrity crush.  Hmmm.  Not sure I have one.  Most celebrities seem so uninteresting to me.  I'm more attracted to people I meet in real life.
