"pregnancy kit" ideas

One of my BFFs from high school just found out she is KU! I am sooooo excited, she is one of the ones I'd mentioned before who I've been waiting not-so-patiently on to have babies. She and her H have been married for a little over a year, but she's been off b/c for longer than that with no dice, and they were about two seconds away from dropping down money for fertility testing when she found out. So, fantastic news!

Another friend and I were wanting to send her a cute little "pregnancy kit" with things like Tums, pantyliners, Tylenol, belly bands, maternity tee, etc. Any other items you can think of to include? Help me brainstorm!

  • Anything that may help ease morning sickness like ginger candy, preggy pops, Seabands, ginger crackers etc.  I hope she has a wonderful first tri but if not she will be glad she has things on hand to try to help with the morning sickness.
What about the stickers that tell you how far along you are? She can use them for weekly/monthly pictures of her growing bump.

I got my BFF a pregnancy magazine and some Cry Babies and Baby Ruth candies, but she got pregnant before I did so I had no idea what type of thing she would actually need, so I went the cutesy route. What about a gift card to Target or a Maternity store? Or a gift card to Sonic or something? That way if she craves sweet treats, salty treats, or just a giant cold drink she's set!

ETA: Or some Sea Bands, I think they're pretty cheap at the drugstore.
