Just wanted your crib mattress suggestions for those that have bought or are in the process of buying or registering for one. I lucked out when I had my daughter 19 months ago my sister gave me my nieces old crib and mattress so I didn't have to deal with this issue before. With this baby I am getting a crib from my sister's sister in law but I have to buy a new mattress and the choices are endless. I have been looking them up and am just getting more confused. I don't want a super cheap one but also don't want to spend an arm and a leg on one either. I was looking into the Lullabye Earth lightweight crib mattress. My daughter sleeps on a Sleay that has dual sides the firm side is for the little ones and the softer side is for toddlers. It is a good mattress but very cumbersome. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Re: crib mattress
Sealy mattress. Can't figure out how to go back and edit for spelling.
We have a Colgate EcoClassica for DS and I plan on reusing it with this baby. I like using the plant based fibers as much as possible. Buy a good mattress cover too. I wouldn't personally worry about a softer side for a toddler - my little guy is fine on his ultra firm crib mattress with no pillow and no complaints.
