There's not a cream in the world that will prevent stretch marks. However, moisturizing liberally can help alleviate that tight/itchy feeling that will set when your skin starts to stretch. My favorites are straight carrier oils (almond, apricot kernel, argan) which can be found at a Whole Foods or your local health food store.
I have been using "Mother's Special Blend" which is made of all natural oils. It is amazing. Highly recommend it. I'm 39 weeks and have very few stretch marks and I'm prone to them. I plan on using it after baby too.
My grandmother had 6 full term pregnancies and zero stretch marks - she swore that it was because she lathered on cocoa butter every day. My mom took her advice and had no stretch marks. I'm going that route.

I used this when pregnant with baby #1, no stretch marks. I will use it again this pregnancy. I could just be lucky. But regardless, I felt better doing SOMETHING, even if it was just mentally appeasing and I wouldn't have gotten stretch marks either way.
I agree with everyone above.. it's genetic... I do use Palmer's Cocoa butter for stretch marks just because my stomach gets very dry and I feel the cocoa butter is very moisturizing.
Geranium Lavender Frankincense and Helichrysum Essential Oils are great for stretch marks. Add it to fractionated coconut oil and rub it on! Just make sure you are using Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils, not cheap ones that you buy from the health food store because they have fillers and designed for aromatic use only.

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
