Minocycline freak-out!

I don't know how I forgot about this, but I'd been taking minocycline for acne for years, and I know it can cause birth defects if taken while pregnant. Before I conceived (I'm almost seven weeks now) I had pretty much stopped taking it, MAYBE once or twice when I felt a breakout coming on. I can't find any info on this except that you're not supposed to take it; nothing about how risky it actually is. Did anyone else have a similar experience? I'm kinda freakin.

I was taking it as well but for other reasons and she said the side effect is yellowing of the child's teeth later in life so I just figured I'll deal with it for now and start again after the baby.

Really!? Phew! Here I was thinking I was gonna give birth to a ball of fingers.

I would call your dr to just make sure what class if falls into

So the side effect is meth teeth?

OP, I wouldn't worry about it and stop from this point on.

I know this isn't a funny topic, but "ball of fingers" is so funny in a terrible way.
