baby standing up and sleep pattern

Anyone had a good sleeper who now knows how to pull up to standing position
and refuses to lay down and sleep now. She could be totally exhausted, tears streaming down her face but won't stay laying down. How are you dealing with this? Not sure what to do.

She might not know how to get down from a standing position.

You and your SO could try showing her when she is awake how to sit/lay back down.

If you go in and put her back down every time she stands up at night, she'll be delayed at figuring it out for herself. You just really need to give her a few nights to figure it out.
    Exactly this.

When DS learned to pull himself up, I spent the next 2 days "teaching" him how to sit down by himself.  I do it like a game for him to make it fun.  He quickly learned how to get down safely.

At naptime, I made the mistake of going in and laying DS down after he pulled himself up.  He thought it was fun and so he kept doing it over and over again.  I finally realized I just had to let him be (after I was sure he knew how to get back down).  He would pull up/sit down over and over again for up to 15 minutes.  Finally he got tired enough and laid down to sleep.  The novelty wore off after a day or two.
