Thursday morning at 4am I woke up feeling like....

Contractions were 8 min apart. I thought we had plenty of time, so we waited to get DS on the bus before heading to the hospital an hour away at 7.

We had to stop a few times on the way to the hospital so we arrived a little after 8 and the contractions were right on top of each other. The put me in a wheelchair and rushed me up to L&D. I told the nurses I felt like I was pushing. They wanted to know if I could walk. Um no.

After a quick change into a gown I got onto the bed so they could check me. I was at a 10 and was indeed pushing. The doctor was in surgery so everyone was all "Stahp!!"

I wanted an Epi but everyone just laughed at that. With the next contraction the doctor appeared in the room with a possey of nurses and said "Stick your foot in that stirrup and I'll let you push".

That did it for me, a switch flipped and I was a wild woman the only coherent thought I had at that moment was.....(Seriously this shit went through my head)

One push and she came flying out, no tearing, no long intense labor, one push. Honestly I thought I had pooped, when they plopped her on my chest. I was so confused. DH cut the cord and I just kept saying "What? I'm done?"
Willow was born at 8:40 less than 30 min after arriving at the hospital, she was 6lbs 10oz and 18 inches long. It happened so fast that they didn't even get me admitted. My mom was supposed to be in there with DH and I, but she couldn't get any info as to where we were, so she was in the lobby of the hospital lost.

We are home now and adjusting to life with baby on the outside. I have no idea what I have been doing with my days, I get enamored with her and just sit and stare. So far she is a great sleeper and eats like a linebacker. I can't think of what else to write I am at a loss for words, I love my daughter she is perfect.
ETA I forgot a picture.
