At what age do kids stop napping?

Ok, so my DD is almost 4 and is still an occasional napper. She refuses to nap when she's with me I think because she wants more time with mommy (I'm a divorced parent and DD splits her time between my house and STBXH's) She naps occasionally at DC also. Was just wondering when kids give up their nap entirely? TIA!

My DS stopped at 3.5, when he started preschool. But, I know a couple of five year olds that still nap.

Reese naps for us well. She "rests" at her in home daycare, and fights my MIL for naps. 

I definitely see her outgrowing them sooner than later though.

DS started to skip days at 18 months, and dropped them completely by 2 1/2.

DS was 3 and DD shortly after her 2nd birthday. It sucked. 

I'm always blown away by 4+ yos that still nap regularly. My kids would never go to bed. I rather enjoy their 7:30 bedtimes and my free evenings.

At home DD2 stopped napping around 2.5. She still naps at daycare though on the days she goes in the morning. DD1 stopped napping completely by 3 at home and at daycare.

My boys napped daily until kindergarten. DS1 stopped napping on Saturdays at age 7, DS2 still naps once a weekend, he's 6.5.

Around age 4, I think.  DD went to daycare and I believe most of the time she napped there b/c it was part of the routine but she wouldn't nap at home around that age.  DS is only 2 so he takes a nap every day still. In fact, he seems to like them.  Every day after lunch he grabs his blankets and stuffed tiger and heads upstairs.

My kid started skipping naps around 12 month and dropped them completely around 15 months. Except for the occasional car nap, she never naps anymore. I hope that makes you feel better about your lives

My son stopped napping at 12 months.  My daughter stopped napping at 6 years old.

I think it depends on the child, but routine plays a big part in it. At the school where I teach, all kids under 4.5 have a nap time, and they all nap fine, but many of their parents say they can't get them to nap at home.

He naps every once in a while at preschool but usually he stays awake chatting with the teachers.  He gets a sticker if he's quiet lol  I don't even remember when he stopped napping at home but it was quite a while ago.  A year ago probably.
