I'm new here- does anyone else think Lupron is the devil?!

Hi all-

We are trying for baby number 2. We had DD via our first IVF after 3 failed IUIs. I am diagnosed with immunological infertility (controversial I know, but I have my daughter with intralipids and dexamethasone). 

Anyway, dying this FET (my first), I am on lupron and it is the DEVIL! Mood swings are horrible. Has anyone else had this happen to them? It makes me feel like the fresh IVF cycle was so MUCH easier! I was hoping it would be the other way around

Ugh. Not good to hear. I start Lupron tomorrow. It will be my first time taking it- I am NOT looking forward to it!

I just finished my first fresh IVF cycle and I really didn't think Lupron was that bad! I hope you feel better soon!

Whit 0156- maybe you will be just fine. I have heard other woman say Lupron was no biggie.

I didn't feel the greatest the first couple times soon after injecting. But not bad now. Metallic taste in my mouth and rapid heart beat Both went away after an hour. Barely notice now

That's awesome. I feel better now after introducing estrogen…….but before that WOW! Mood swings like crazy. I'm glad that's over and that you are doing so well!!

When I did it three years ago I was just a bit cranky w mood swings too- but I would do FET over fresh anyway- but we will see what I say in a few weeks- I start the 30th!!!
