Do you think it's safe to wear a girdle?

in 1st Trimester
I am 10 weeks pregnant with my second child and am at the stage where I just look fat (not pregnant at all). My husband has a work function we have to attend in a few weeks and I want to look my best for his sake. Do you think it's safe to wear a body suit shaper/girdle for just a few hours? 4 hours at most but more like 2 hours. It doesn't have any boning in it like a corset it's just all spandex. TIA!

    I wore Spanx to a baby shower when I was 14 weeks with DS. As long as it isn't too constricting, you will be fine.

    My dr told me tight clothes won't hurt the baby, it just makes moms feel super uncomfortable.

    Totally fine. Maternity shapewear is an actual thing. It's safe throughout pregnancy. Even those back/belly support belts you can wear in the third trimester are basically just girdles.
