For those that had a c/s

If you were not bf, did your boobs get sore 4 weeks after for no apparent reason? Did you have lower right sided pain on and off? When did you have sex for the first time? When did your OB ok you to ttc again?

We were cleared for sex at 8 weeks, I want to say. And my OB recommended waiting a year to get pregnant.

I still get random sharp pains here and there all around the incision site. We were cleared for sex at 6 weeks and ended up trying then, although I wanted to wait. It was very uncomfortable the first times. I was told at least 18 months between pregnancies.

It was 6 weeks for us, too, now that I think about it.

I was also cleared at 6 weeks but physically could not until closer to 7 or 8 weeks. I didn't pay close attention b/c we aren't planning to TTC again soon if at all but I think she said a year minimum but closer to 18 months was preferable to TTC again. A lot depends on how your c/s went and on your doctor.

I have no advice but wondered how LO was doing and if she was out of NICU yet?

We were cleared for sex at 6 weeks and was told not to TTC for at least a year. We were given the ok to harvest eggs if I wanted.

She is out of the nicu she came home exactly a week ago. She is doing really well but still has the spells where she chokes. She is small but stubborn like her mom she is already trying to jump out if our arms and makes her opinions well known. She was well worth the wait.

Cleared for sex at 6wks. Told to wait minimum of 6 months before getting pregnant but a year would be better. I got pregnant after 8.5 months and was allowed to attempt a VBAC.
After my second csection (failed VBAC), she didn't mention a time period to wait before getting pregnant again. Just said there was no scar tissue from 1st csection and that a 3rd csection would be fine.

I did have pain on my lower right side, which the OB said was due to the way the anchor stitches were placed. I had internal stitches and steri strips. My scar is also a little crooked on that side, but that didn't become apparent until it had fully healed. I was cleared for sex at 6w, but we didn't until 10ish. Even then, we only did it a handful of times until I weaned, as I had significant discomfort from the dryness (tmi- I know!!). I was told to wait to TTC for one year.

I think I was cleared at 6 weeks for sex.  I saw an RE at 6-7 months post-partum and he told us we should not wait due to my DOR.  He said I would not be able to VBAC, but that otherwise it should be okay.  I did not quit having pain until just here within the past 2-3 months.  It took me a good 10-12 months to heal up from the C-section.

I BF so can't answer the first questions. Pains lasted for along time. I was told it was where the anchor stichese are. But who knows could be something else. I could have sex whenver - I never asked but if it was for ttc they wanted to make sure I have 18 months between births.

Like most pp's, sex was cleared at 6 weeks & my OB never did tell me how long to wait before TTC again. When my LO's were 10 months I went back to my RE & he rushed right along to another IVF cycle. In hindsight I think that was too soon but I panicked when my RE made the situation seem dire. After a failed IVF followed by a failed FET, I took care of my body & cycled again at a new clinic this past April, it was my best cycle ever. As for pain post c/s, I felt it was intermittent for about 6-9 months with numbness that is now gone but overall I felt good by three months pp.
