wwyd: late af, neg hpt

My af is about week late. I usually spot (a lot!) for a few days before af arrives as well. I have had a bit of brown and pinkish spotting but not even enough to spot onto a panti liner just when i wipe. I have taken two hpt but both negative. Chances of me being pregnant are slim to none based on the lack on sex last month.
I was going to start an iui cycle this cycle so i did contact the clinic to let them know up. They said i could come for a beta Monday. I am spotting a bit though, would you just wait it out or go in even though it is probably going to be negative?
Any idea about why it could be so late? I am usually like clockwork. I am so frustrated.

Why don't you just go in and get it done to be sure unless it's going to cost you money. FWIW when we tried IVF my period was later than it has ever been...I think from stress. In retrospect I am also not as regular as I thought and with my DOR I am probably having some anovulatory cycles. GL
