diaper rash from milk?

my son will be 1 next week and we are gradually switching from formula to organic milk.  he has a horrible diaper rash this morning and has had a little bit of redness down there for a week or 2.  brought him to dr initially who said it was nothing, but now its bad! im thinking he might be allergic.  anyone switch to almond milk? whats the difference?

YES! Our baby boy was colicky from milk even in my BM and still can't have it. If he has any dairy he gets horrible diaper rash. Red blistery kind. I had him tested and he's not technically allergic. His Dr also doesn't know why this would be happening. I don't know what the problem is, but we're in the same boat.

  • i just came back from the dr who said he needs to be on formula till it clears up then start the milk little by little again..if the rash comes back then thats why and he can go on almond milk with calcium!
  • Thanks for the follow up.  We hav e the same issue here and there.  But it doesn't happen all the time.  Such a guessing game!
