XP: Appt Update

I've missed you ladies the last few days, I've been so busy with people examining my vagina/uterus, I've hardly had time to log in! So I had the appointment with my OB to discuss the b/w results and U/S I had done a few days ago. Of course, the b/w was all good..she said the U/S showed normal shaped uterus, perfect ovaries with no cysts or fibroids.  Initially she said my lining looked good, and then we got to talking. I told her I had ovulated on CD 17, so maybe I was getting back to normal cycles. She looked surprised that I had already ovulated and asked me how many DPO I was. I was 5 DPO and she said that my lining was thin for that--only 6mm and she would like it to be 10-12mm at that point. She said it could of been where they measured the lining, b/c it's thinner at the bottom of the uterus, but said she would no longer recommend putting me on Clomid, since that would further thin the lining.  She said she would recommend Femara, but that she doesn't prescribe that and would send me to the specialist for that.

She then asked if we had done an S/A and I told her no, that I had wanted to talk to her about that b/c we wanted to get that done first to make sure there wasn't an issue before I put myself on fertility drugs.  She said she agreed. So she gave me the contact info to the RE where we would get the S/A done. I told her after that we would decide if we wanted to move forward with the RE for fertility drugs. 

So I guess everything is good except the thin lining...now I am kind of disappointed about this b/c I am thinking that this cycle will be another bust b/c if the lining is too thin, doesn't that prevent proper implantation? Is there a way I can thicken my lining?  Thanks for listening and ((hugs)) to anyone who needs them today.

ETA: After discussing the lining, she said that if I got a BFP to start taking progesterone immediately (which I was already planning on doing, since I did that in my last 2 pregnancies) but I was thinking, "does that have anything to do with lining?"
