Pimples on cheeks?

Hey guys, my 13 month old developed these little red bumps on her cheeks last month but I didn't think much of it b/c she has eczema and I assumed it was that or a heat rash (it was really hot at the time). I just moisturized as usual. Well they never went away completely and now the last 2 days, she's woken up each morning with a pimple on each cheek in the same area. They have a head (with pus...sorry....gross). Wth is this?! I know infants get baby acne but a 13 month old? Anyone else experience something like this?

  • Maybe try aquaphor. When lo was younger he'd get a rash and our Dr. Prescribed an oil...I forget which kind to use on it when it got bad and it really helped a lot. He also has sensitive skin and will break out if the wrong sunscreen or other product is used.

  • OK, thanks! Will call the ped too. I just hate bothering them with every little thing haha
  • I also find if my daughter is congested it gets worse because she drools in her sleep (because she is breathing with her mouth open).  The drool irritates her skin - ta da!  Breakouts.  Moisturizing and gentle cleansing helps, but maybe your ped can give you better remedies.
