During the week I'm often in my pj's all day. I only change before DH gets home so he doesn't think I'm gross in my milk soaked old pj's.
I'll also run around the house and pick up real quick so it doesn't look like I've been on the couch all day (in my old pj's)
I totally remember doing that with my first! Now I no longer give a fuck. DD2 is still up every two hours at night and DD1 is up for the day by 7am. DH hasn't missed a Kung Fu lesson and is golfing this weekend for the second time since DD2 came home. It won't kill him to do a little extra work around here.
I haven't taken a shower since Monday. I just realized it last night. I think I'll have to get up in about an hour (5am PST) just so I can get one in while dd is still sleeping.
You have be beat by a day...no shower here since Tuesday. I had a window last night and I chose to drink a glass of wine on the deck instead. Priorities.
I try to get a shower in every day. It's my only mommy time. Though when I get out, I put on yoga pants I'm tired of dh friends just dropping by. I just want to walk around in my bra because my boobs are constantly out.
1. It's 40 degrees here and I fully plan to stay in my sweatpants all day. 2. I'm not going to cook dinner tonight but will make DH pick up a pizza on the way home. 3. I'm going shopping by myself tomorrow to spend my birthday money (birthday was two months ago). I plan on taking my sweet time while DH watches LO. I've told DH some of the stores I'm going to, but not all.

I don't like the Beatles. At all. I understand that they're a very influential band, but I don't enjoy their music.
I much prefer the Rolling Stones.
I always get crap for not liking the following bands:
Red Hot Chilli Peppers (I'm sorry, I don't get it.) The Eagles (So over played it doesn't even feel like music) U2 (I would rather stab myself in the ear)
But I do like the Beatles. Like a lot.
I also have never seen and have no interest in seeing:
1.) Any of the Lord of the Rings movies to completion (I have slept through parts of 2 of them.) I love Harry Potter and other nerdy things... but this is not one of them. I don't get it. 2.) Avatar - No interest. 3.) Any of the Matrix movies (I just can't. I actually had to look up Keanu Reeves IMDB because I couldn't remember what this series of movies was called.)
I take crap for this all the time. Especially the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. My feelings about them are similar to Randall's from Clerks 2
DD generally likes her space when she naps. She isn't a fan of sleeping on my chest or in my arms (every once in a while she does), but you know what? That is fine with me. I get plenty of time with her in my arms while she is awake and I don't have the hassle of worrying about moving her once she is asleep.
The past couple nights I've been really tired and haven't had the energy to stand in the kitchen to make DS (3 this month) dinner.. He's been having alot of Rice Krispies, waffles, peanut butter on toast and mini pizzas lately. I'm sure it could be worse though.
I told my officemate I needed to to pump when I really didn't just to get away from him. He talks nonstop and I'm tired of hearing his voice. So now I'm sitting in a quiet room mobile bumping. Way better use of my time right??
My mother and step father are coming to see the baby and spend my birthday with me for the weekend. I have not seen her in almost 10yrs. I am not looking forward to the visit as I cannot stand my step father
We must have similar families. My mom is coming out in a few weeks and I feel if will be awkward since we are not close. Luckily, my stepdad couldn't get time off work. I feel for you!

Yesterday evening LO was being incredibly fussy. I told DH that she calms down when I lay with her in the hammock out front, but only if it keeps moving. I told him that I needed him to keep coming by to push us in between him keeping track of DS and working on his truck. LO doesn't care if the hammock is moving, I was just too lazy to keep it moving myself.
My husband was worried about oral vaccines because of potential contamination issues. He hasn't done his research. LO got her 2 month vacs on Wed, she got an oral vac and I have no intentions of telling him.
I am pissed at MH because we had planned to get lo baptized at my old church growing up (we were married there, too). Well, we're talking seriously about the classes and whatnot at this point and he just now pipes in that he wants to do it at MIL's church with some other priest. But he also wants the priest who married us to do it. Priests and churches are not mix and match!
We had also previously discussed having my parents be godparents because godparents have to be confirmed, married in the church and active church members. Really, nobody else we know fits these criteria. Except MIL. Hell to the no! She has been godmother to 2 of our nieces and our nephew. She's had her damn day!
If DD poops within the hour before DH gets home I leave it for him to change and tell him she just did it. She is also currently sitting in a dirty diaper because I forgot to wash them this morning because I was busy setting up her activity gym and playing with her.

I should be taking this opportunity while DD is napping to clean this wreck up. I went to BRU yesterday and got a "few" things. They are scattered all over our love seat. Instead I'm just sitting here. Relaxing. Catching up on a little scandal

I try to make sure LO gets out for at least one walk a day, but the way I go about it can be very selfish. If he is being extremely fussy I will take him out just when I think I can't take it anymore because I know it will put him to sleep and I will get a little break from the fussiness. Also, if it has been raining I have put him in the stroller and wheeled him around our main floor for the same effect.
Fist bump. I time errands around fussy periods some days because I know the car will put him to sleep for a few.
"The cleaning, the scrubbing will wait til tomorrow,

I was scheduled to get the 3 year IUD this morning. H and I agreed to it and we want to wait to TTC until 12/14. I had the hardest time going to this appt. I secretly opted for the depo shot until can make up my mind on waiting that long to TTC.
I am very unhappy with government shutdown largely because of people out of work due to some other people not communicating and not finding the solution and also because we planned 2 weeks utah colorado nevada trip like four months ago. I will be mad as anything if the shutdown is still in effect and I cannot see Yellowstone and the grand canyon (national parks are closed for now). I haven't seen any of the landmarks and spent a good amount to do so. :-/

I'm wondering how long it's going to take our DHs to catch onto stuff like this. Actually, they might have already but they're too chicken shit to call us out on it (which they should be!) I think they know the kind of shit show that would go down if they accused us of using LO to get our way..hahaha. Love it!
My FFFC: I may have typed an email the other day to co-workers and used the abbreviations DH and LO. Thank God I caught it before I hit send!

We agree on only one thing: U2. I actually hate them. This may be an UO but I think Bono only gets involved with humanitarian projects to boast about it
Here's another confession: I have never watched Star Wars. I'm okay with this.
I totally agree with you. I loathe Bono. Oh and Lars from Metallica. I am not a fan of him either.
I'm absolutely obsessed with LOTR. I read the books as a kid. I can live without Star Wars. B-)
We can't be friends anymore. I hate LOTR but Dh loves it. At least twice a year we marathon through the extended editions. I want to kill myself during those long 10 hours time periods.
Star Wars, on the other hand... LOVE IT. Our son *is* named Luke, afterall ;D
I accidentally scratch DS's eyelid while he was laying on his boppy. He spit out his paci and I tried to catch it before it rolled to the floor and jabbed his eye. I felt sooo bad, we both cried. It even bled a tiny bit. DH said it makes him look tough.
I think when people ask I'm going to say he scratched himself because I might cry again if they even react jokingly like I'm so mean or a bad mom, which my friends would and the ones I've have told reacted that way.
Dont feel to bad...DD was sitting on my lap the other day and we were making faces at each other. Well she suddenly decides to head butt me, and smacks into my metal framed glasses. She had a nice little scratch. Put a little BM on it, and it was gone the next day....She cried so loud and hard though...I felt horrible
I went to lay LO down on a big chair at FIL house and she launched herself headfirst into the arm rest. It was super padded and she cried less than a minute but I felt so bad. But the absolute worst was accidentally cutting her finger while trying to clip her nails, I bawled right alongside her. It took us both a few good minutes to calm down,

I have never seen any of those movies either. I hate fantasy crap like that. My H loves Lord of the Rings... I tried... It sucked!
LO is almost 7w and I still haven't trimmed his nails. They're just so little and he's so squirmy.
I've told internet strangers more about my son's health problems than I've told my closest friends. I know eventually I won't be able to hide his arm and hand, but somehow I can't bring myself to tell them that my kid is handicapped. I don't want the pity
An hour is a long time to wait to change a poopy diaper [-X I only wait few minutes to make sure she is done
I thought everyone timed walks/errands at nap times
Star Wars slaps the shit out of lotr. My parents dragged me to the hobbit and I was pissed at the end cuz I didn't know it was going to be a trilogy
Mine: I bump LO head once a week I have a tiny apartment and bad depth perception it's not hard cuz she never cries and no matter how careful I try to be it still happens. I am scared to think how many times it would happen if I didn't pay attention. I have also hit my hip bones enough to have permanent bruises.
Re: FFFC
I've gone that route in the past. Last night that would have required way too much effort though. Lol
Ha...yes!
