It makes me so sad that it has been 2 years since we lost Sydney but to find out that the only people to even message my hubby was his mother and his aunt and myself. We acknowledged him on Monday and that was it. He was so sad and a bit upset that no one else spoke to him about her He lost her too. I know they all see me as the point of contact because I always speak about her but he lost his daughter too. It is just sad to know that our angel babies daddies don't get the same condolences that we the mommies get. My hubby is truly a man of few words but he hurts that she isn't here just like do and no one really offered a kind word to him.

It absolutely stinks that dads get left out so often. I am thankful that his mother and aunt (and of course yourself) took time out to acknowledge him as Sydney's dad and that its also his loss. I wish more people realized the grief doesnt go away.

My DH is also a man of few words, and unfortunately I think people take that as him not wanting to acknowledge her.  Which isn't true.  I am glad that YH at least had a few people to remember her.
