Nose Piercing....

In the last 3 minutes I decided I'd like to get my nose pierced. I just want a little tiny stud. 

I recently met and sorta fell in *fellow mom* love with this cool ass bitch. She happens to have a nose piercing. I mentioned my idea to DH and he basically laughed in my face. 

Somehow, piercings are too weird for him but I get tattooed with no question. ??? Maybe I should just go for a tatt then?

I just took my stud out after having it for over 10 years, but I loved it for that time.

I say do what you want. A piercing is a lot easier to remove than a tattoo if you decide you don't like it.

Yeah, I've noticed that navel piercings are always noticeable after. Nose I think it depends a bit on the nose in question.

My HS BFF and I thought it was a good idea to give ourselves belly button piercings back in the day. That shit hurt like fuck and got infected in two days. Have I ever told y'all about my sweet ass 4:20 tattoo that's on my hip? Yup... my same stupid BFF gave that shit to me with a needle, thread and some ink.

I had one for a long time, I got it in high school. It hurt like a bitch. Tattoos are fine with me, but piercing fucking hurts. I would lose my studs at night all the time because I lay on my stomach and rub my face on my pillow. Go for it if you really want one. I am past the tattoo and piercing stage in my life for right now, but I will get into it again when I'm old and don't have to spend all my money on kids.

I had my ear cartilage pierced, and it was the worst fucking thing ever.  It hurt like a bitch, my hair kept getting wrapped around it, and it would get infected all of the time.

I had mine done from 18-25ish. It hurt like HELL when I got it pierced (at Electrichead in the Hall Mall circa 1999, hell yeah!) I never had problems with infections or anything I just felt "too old" for it once I had DD.
Eta: I have 2 tattoos, had belly button, tongue, nose and rook pierced. Nose was by far the most painful, and I have a high tolerance.

Badass! I can't remember the guys name who did my nose but he had a split tongue like a snake. It was terrifying!

I have mine pierced and it's never been a problem professionally. 

OP I say go for it. I love mine. It's (relatively) cheap and easy. If you don't love it, it's easy to take out.

I had my nose pierced once for like 48 hours before it got infected looking and fell out. But man it looked cute in that time!

I wish I could pull that off.  I'm thinking about redoing my lower lip, but I think that might be pushing it.

My sister is just cute in general and can pull off about anything.  I kind of hate her.

I got a nose stud about 3 years ago. For me, it was less painful than my cartilage piercing and doesn't get infected the way that did. I love it and continue to rock it as a mom. When I'm feeling like a hipster, I switch it out for a hoop. I'm such a damn rebel.

I have my nose and lip pierced and I love them both! The nose really isn't super painful...it's definitely doable!

I got my nose pierced about 5 years ago.  Out of all the piercings I've had, it hurt the least, and healed the quickest.  I love my nose piercing; I don't know that I'll ever get rid of it.

I also had my belly button pierced when I was 18 (I had to remove it during my 2nd pregnancy), but I can still see where it was, and eventually (when I get back to pre-baby weight/shape) want to get it re-pierced.

About 3 years ago, I got an industrial (see below) and that one hurt the most - it was TERRIBLE! Still, I loved it, and kept it for about 2.5 years.  I recently took it out because I had hypertrophic scarring around the top of my ear and leaving the bar in was only making it worse.  I traded it for one stud in my cartilage.  I've considered trying the industrial on the other ear, but I'm not sure it would be any different, so I'm pretty hesitant.

i got a a nose ring last year and i love it.  i have a super thin hoop in it now and i just think i look sofa king cool as i fuss with my three year old about her wanting to run around the mall naked.

I'm almost 27 and I rock a nose ring with no fucks to give. I am also pregnant and had to take my rings off because swollen. I took Oliver out for a lunch date and I got a ton of looks. I m flattered that I look like a teenager to everyone.
