not so great dr. appointment

So during my ultrasound today we found out baby girl still isn't growing very well. She is about 2 weeks behind which is concerning but not at a terrible point yet. Then they checked the cords blood flow and it is very high which is apparently very concerning and could be causing the growth restriction. They wanted me to see the mfm today but the earliest I can get in is tomorrow at 7. I was told.that they could decided she has a better chance out then in and they might decide to take her tomorrow. I'm 24 weeks.today. I'm trying not to freak out but I'm scared. Any good thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated. I'm praying that they just want to watch her closely and we can make it a few more weeks.

    So sorry to hear you're going through this. Hopefully there is something they can do to encourage growth for her in the coming weeks? Any treatment options or is it always just early delivery? T&P's coming your way, keep us updated!

    I'm so sorry you are going through this!  I don't have any experience with this and had to look it up.  It looks like in some cases they could allow the mom to go to 35 weeks.  I hope they can just keep an eye on her for a few more weeks and let her grow a bit more first.  Let us know what happens tomorrow.  I'll be thinking of you!

    OB ordered SA 2/17 and referred to RE for MFI - Low Count/Motility
    DH Varicocele repair 6/17. 
    9/17 SA: count improved
    TI w/Letrozole 9/17, 10/17
    IUI#1 11/17 BFN
    IUI#2 Christmas day :'( Canceled due to low count/poor sample  :'(
    IVF#1 w/ICSI: 3/18 BCP, Lupron down reg, Follistim 300IU, LDHCG 10units, Lupron 5units, Ovidrel trigger on 3/18. ER 3/21
    8 retrieved, 5 mature, 3 smaller no fertilization w/IVF. 3/5 fertilized w/ICSI. Day 5 Fresh transfer scheduled 3/26 or day3 on Saturday if any arrest.

    Cycle#4-5 Clomid 150mg + Metformin 1000mg + TI= BFN, but finally ovulation!!!
    Cycle #6 Clomid 150mg + Metformin 1500mg + IUI(4/15)= BFP!!! EDD 01/06/2014 <br>

    12/26/2012 U/S #2 8w6d - No more heartbeat, MMC; D&C; Chromosome testing normal; male :( RPL testing normal 
    4/3/2013 DX Asherman's Syndrome caused by D&C, hysteroscopy done
    June 2013 IVF #4 planned 
    5/12/2013 SURPRISE BFP! Natural cycle 
    7/11/2013 Panorama results Normal!!! Team Pink, partial previa moved up in 2nd tri9/5/13 (19w) AS scan shows short cervix, 2.5 cm 9/19 (21w)  Cervix is worse 1.87cm, bed rest 10/26 & 10/27 steroid shots 12/19 (35w) DX: SGA Baby went from 57% percentile to 18th percentile in 6 weeks. Weekly BPP and NST until she is here. 1/17/18 Growth scan puts Abby below 10th percent in size, low amniotic fluid, and less movement. Time to induce!
    1/18/14 2:11am Abigial Morgan is here! 5lbs 14oz and 18 inches of pure cuteness!!!

    T&Ps for you and LO. That's scary stuff, but hopefully you get more answers from the MFM. I bet they're just going to want to keep an eye on her, and that they were just trying to prepare you for worst case. Hang in there, and keep us updated.
